According to the Agriculture Department data, cereal crop sowing has reached 78 percent of the target, while pulse crop sowing has achieved 68 percent completion against the planned target. Oilseed crop sowing has also progressed steadily, reaching 73 percent of the targeted area.
Sugarcane sowing has recorded the highest progress among major categories, with 93 percent of the target already completed. Cotton sowing has reached 73 percent of the target, reflecting continued agricultural activity across the state.
Among pulse crops, cowpea sowing has achieved 85 percent completion against the target. The latest figures indicate that farmers across Rajasthan have made substantial progress in Kharif 2026 cultivation activities.
